VIET NAM VETERANS MEMORIAL - UNITED STATES
Located in Washington D.C.( United States) the memorial was dedicated in 1982. It consists
of two 250-foot walls of polished black granite sloping to the ground from a height of 10 feet
and a sculpture of three servicemen and a flag. The walls are inscribed with the names of the
more than 58,000 U.S. men and women who were killed or missing in the Viet Nam war.
