THE STATUE OF CRISTO REDENTOR - BRAZIL
The statue is 125 feet high and weighs 1145 tons. It completed in 1931 by French
sculptor Paul Maximilian Landowski.The statue with outstreched arms stands on
the top of the mont Corcovado (Hunchback Mountain) that is 704.6 m (2,310 ft)
high, in southeast Brazil overlooking Rio de Janeiro.
